Where are they made

Every suit is hand-built in the Uckermark, designed and stress-tested on Berlin floors. No factory line - each piece goes through the workshop bench by hand.

Production time

+

4-6 weeks from order to ship. Each suit is built to order: leather cut, LED strips laid out, controller flashed and QA-tested. Shipping on top: EU 2-5 business days, international 5-14. Insured, tracked, discreet packaging.

Sizes and fit

Bodys and halternecks in XS/S/M/L. Chest harnesses and cages in ONE_SIZE with adjustable straps (approx. 80-115 cm chest). Custom sizing on request - drop a note in the order.

Price range

Suits from €142 (Flex Cage Body) to €228 (Mira Halterneck). Accessories: replacement Ravewear controller €39, spare 5000 mAh powerbank €29, USB-C extension cable €9. All prices incl. 19% VAT.

Battery life

+

8h+ measured on the bundled 5000 mAh USB-C powerbank at medium brightness. Swap batteries in seconds, or run off any 5 V power source.

How buddy-sync works

+

The phone opens a dedicated Wi-Fi hotspot only for the suits - no home router involved, no shared network with strangers. All buddies join automatically after pairing. The phone streams DDP over UDP at 60 fps to every buddy - one pattern, sub-frame latency, no leader/follower setup.

Trigger sources: AUTO, MIC, MOTION

MIC uses the phone microphone to detect BPM live. MOTION reads your hips through the phone accelerometer for warm-ups and ambient sets. AUTO switches between the two based on which one is stable right now. All three run on the phone - no cloud, no calibration.

STBY, SLOW, BEAT modes

Three energy tempos on the Rave Mode dashboard. STBY calms the suit for the smoke break. SLOW breathes with the warm-up. BEAT pops on every kick. Change with one tap - the next downbeat lands on the new mode with no visible cut.

How many effects are there

+

130+ curated effects across five picker pages: 47 hard-beat kernels, 31 slow-beat breathers, 58 standby fades, plus a Brand-Farben preset that locks the whole crew to magenta / cyan / purple. Every preset shows a live thumbnail of its palette and motion.

Group photo mode

+

Tap GRUPPEN-FOTO and every buddy freezes on a photogenic still frame - full magenta bloom, no strobing. Perfect for the group shot without epilepsy warnings. Tap again to drop back into the rave.

Firmware updates

+

One-tap OTA update inside the app pulls the newest firmware from ravewear.shop, checks sha256, and flashes over the hotspot. Auto-check is on, auto-install is off by default - you decide when to update during a live show.

Privacy

+

Nothing leaves your phone. No account, no analytics, no third-party sync. The microphone audio never leaves the local BPM pipeline - only the extracted BPM number goes on the wire.

Care and washing

+

LEDs and controller are silicone-coated but not machine-washable. Wipe with a damp cloth and mild soap - the PU faux leather is easy to clean. Batteries out for storage.

Warranty

+

1 year on the electronics, 2 years on the leather and stitching. Custom pieces on request.
